JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Develop and implement operational plans and strategies to achieve site-specific goals and objectives.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the site, ensuring smooth and efficient execution of processes and workflows.
- Provide leadership and direction to the site team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, standards, and policies at the site.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, regulators, and community members.
- Act as a liaison between the site and other departments, facilitating communication, coordination, and collaboration on cross-functional projects and initiatives
- Develop and manage the budget for the site, ensuring alignment with site-specific goals and objectives.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum -Mechanical National Diploma or N6,
- Project management qualification,
- 5 years’ experience preferably in power station environment,
- People management skills
- Experience in site planning and scheduling, pre-project communication with client and head office regarding resources and equipment as well as providing input into material
- Strong leadership skills, motivating site teams
- Must have valid driver’s license and a clear criminal record
